• Part 3: Motion JPEG-2000

  • Low-complexity video coder based on Part 1.

• Part 4: Conformance Testing

  • Standard tests and data for verifying compliance.

• Part 5: Reference Software

  • New feature with JPEG-2000; not provided for JPEG-1.

• Part 6: Compound Image File Format

  • Format for images containing mixed raster content (continuous-tone, graphics, text, …)

• Call has been issued for expressions of interest in creating a Reference Hardware Description (would be an additional Part of the standard)
